Rufhaus K9 Couture is a Toronto based company specializing in luxury coats and accessories for dogs that are fashionable, practical and durable. The two principal owners are husband and wife team Serge + Katina Constantinou. Their love for art, fashion, and function has given way to the creation of Rufhaus. From those artistic perspectives and with the help of their dog Tyson, they found an untapped market in creating something not only for small pooches, but also for large ones. And they’ve got people asking… “Who is your dog wearing?”

What turned Serge + Katina to dog apparel? Rufhaus started when they added Tyson, an American Pit Bull Terrier, to their family. A shorthaired breed, Tyson soon showed that he was not comfortable with the cold Canadian winters. He needed a coat, but he was a big dog in a world of small dog fashion. The pickings were slim. So they designed and made a coat for him. Then they made some more. And so a line of dog apparel emerged. Coats for bigger dogs. Coats for smaller dogs. Coats with character. Coats with style. But most importantly, coats that are well made.
